With over 26 years of experience in the South African construction and building management industry, Louis Hough offers extensive technical expertise and a deep-seated passion for every project he undertakes. 

Louis commenced his career in 1995 as a supervisor for a painting contractor, establishing a solid foundation of hands-on knowledge that has enabled him to collaborate with a variety of companies nationwide. His career is characterized by an unwavering commitment to "doing it right the first time," ensuring that property owners and community schemes receive the highest standards of oversight. 

A Proven Track Record

Before founding Hough Building Solutions, Louis held several pivotal roles that informed his holistic approach to building management:

- Property Portfolio Manager (2022–2024): Oversaw complex portfolios for multiple community schemes.

- District Facility Manager / Site Agent (2011–2022): Directed significant construction and renovation initiatives for the Department of Health.

- Clerk of Works (2007–2011): Acted as a site agent for the Department of Public Works in Limpopo, supervising the construction of new healthcare facilities.
